The Society for The Preservation of Beers from the Wood
Northern Ireland Branch
Welcome to a group of campaigners who have been fighting since 1963 for the right to be able to drink natural and unpasteurised ale, especialy from a wooden cask which imparts its own special flavours to the ale
Although pre-dating CAMRA, both groups have the same aims in mind.
You can find more details of the Society's history and aims on this site. If they coincide with your own then why not join?
N.I. Members are usually to be found at the Bridge Bar most Friday nights sampling the cask ales, but we do have a busy social calendar. Do take time to have a look round our website for local information. If you wish to meet up, please get in touch.
